Hello readers!
My name is Kenan Smith and I am from the wonderful city of Snellville, Georgia, a suburb 40 minutes outside of Atlanta. After graduating high school, my parents moved to Brentwood, TN and I figured I'd make the Tennessee move with them and found my way to the University of Tennessee. I am majoring in Human Resource Management with hopes of going into leadership and organizational development. I have fallen in love with this school and the wonderful opportunities that have gotten to experience. GLS has been wonderful so far, and it still hasn't set in that I will be in London in 21 short days with some of the best, most supportive people I have ever met. Never having been out of the country before, I am excited (yet very very nervous) to jump across the pond and have the chance in a lifetime to live, study, and work in the city that I have always dreamed about visiting. I don't think it will really set in fully until I am strapped into my seat on the plane on January 8th.
Well, here's the first of many posts. I can't wait for this journey of a lifetime with 25 of my best friends.
