Hello, all. My name is Wayne Taylor and I am from Memphis,
Tennessee. I am majoring in Accounting with a concentration in International
Business. I am very proud to be a member of Global Leadership Scholars (GLS) , and I
am thankful for the experiences that I will be able to discover.
I never been out of the country, and I never even been to
the beach. So, I am both excited and
nervous to go to London. However, with an awesome group of people at my side, I know that everything will be fine and fun in London ( shout out to GLS 2016).
I want to be able to really understand the
people and culture of different parts of London and even other parts of Europe.
I look forward to discover more things about myself, learn valuable skills from
my classes, and to take advantage of an amazing internship. In the meantime, I am still furiously packing with a bathroom
scale by my side to make sure that my luggage is less than 50 pounds ($100 for
a second suitcase does not sit well with my budget).
London is one week away, and I am one week away from the
start of a journey that I will never forget!
