Looks like we made it. - Sarah Hudson

Well after struggles with missing flights, having to get switched to other flights, losing luggage, trying to find the shuttle at the airport, and staying awake for over 30 hours, the class of 2016 has finally made it to London! Despite all of that, I think it's safe to say it was well worth it for all of us.

The first night, Lane did a good job of keeping us up and trying to get us on London time by taking us on an impromptu night walking tour. Even though we were all super tired, it was actually really good to get moving and push through the tiredness. (Thanks Lane!)

On Friday we went on another walking tour and orientation stuff. Yesterday was our first day with a lot of free time, so we went to the British Museum (which is literally 2 minutes away) in the morning and had a scavenger hunt in the afternoon. My team was Team Hyde Park, and we totally dominated. We won first place and got a gift card to an Asian restaurant! I was paired with Mariah, and the other half of our team split off and finished other stuff while Mariah literally had us power-walking the ENTIRE time. She got a blister and didn't slow down at all. I think we actually sped up.

Today we had a coach tour all around London, and it was incredible! See my Facebook in all the pictures. ;) In a few minutes, we are going to Dr. Mee's flat for an open house-type thing before we start up his stats class tomorrow.

We are all ready for bed again even though it's only 2 in the afternoon and 9 in the morning for y'all. We're living the life!

Anyway, we will continue to write on the blog throughout our semester about all of our travels and classes and experiences! Stay tuned.

Cheers!
